The Career Advancement in Manufacturing Report created by Thomas in partnership with Women in Manufacturing is now live for review. This is their fifth joint annual survey on career progression and women in the manufacturing sector.
This survey reveals key insights about the state of manufacturing, including:
• 80% of women and 81% of men recommend a manufacturing career.
• 79% of companies report experiencing labor shortages.
• 74% of women and 49% of men “fell into” manufacturing careers, a key gender highlight.
• Women report career satisfaction, but gaps in leadership representation remain a challenge.
